Fracta MCP connector

A connector that lets AI clients such as ChatGPT and Claude add, view and update your Fracta tasks and memos.

Overview

Fracta has no AI inside the app. AI comes in from the external client you connect, such as ChatGPT or Claude, through this connector (an MCP server).

Server URL
https://mcp.fracta.protoductai.com/mcp
Transport
MCP (Streamable HTTP)
Authentication
OAuth 2.0 (PKCE, dynamic client registration). You are asked to sign in to Fracta with Apple or Google when connecting
Plan required
Fracta Pro. Calls from free accounts are rejected with "Fracta Pro is required to use the GPT integration."
Data in scope
Your own tasks and memos only. Events imported from Google Calendar are not included

Connect

First sign in to the Fracta iOS app and make sure Fracta Pro is active.

  1. Claude: in Settings, open Connectors, choose "Add custom connector" and enter https://mcp.fracta.protoductai.com/mcp as the server URL.
  2. ChatGPT: in Settings, open Apps (connectors) and add Fracta, or in developer mode enter https://mcp.fracta.protoductai.com/mcp as the server URL.
  3. When the browser opens, sign in with your Fracta account (Apple or Google) and approve access.
  4. Start a new conversation, enable Fracta and ask as in the examples below.

Menu names may change as clients update. If you cannot find them, look in the client's help for "adding a remote MCP server".

The 10 tools

list_tasks
List tasks, optionally filtered by status (not started, in progress, completed) or day (YYYY-MM-DD).
create_task
Create one task: scheduled (start and end), deadline, unassigned, habit or recurring.
create_note
Save a plain-text memo.
update_task
Update only the supplied fields of a task. Omitted fields stay unchanged; null clears a value.
complete_task
Mark a task complete, or incomplete again.
delete_task
Permanently delete one task. Used only right after you explicitly confirm.
search
Search task titles and notes.
fetch
Get the full details of one task by ID.
render_task_card
Show one task as a compact card in ChatGPT.
set_focus_task
Set the single most important task for a day; it replaces any earlier pick for that day.

The connector also offers four prompt templates: weekly_review, plan_my_day, break_down_deadline and habit_checkin (selectable in clients that support prompts).

Example prompts

  • "Add a dentist appointment tomorrow from 3 pm to 4 pm to Fracta."
  • "List today's tasks, highest priority first."
  • "The proposal is due next Friday. Break it into three milestones and add them to Fracta."
  • "Save the notes from that meeting as a Fracta memo."
  • "Find tasks mentioning invoices and mark the finished ones complete."
  • "Make 'draft the proposal' my one thing for today."

Deleting a task cannot be undone. If the AI proposes a deletion, check it before you approve.

Disconnect

  • Claude: in Settings, open Connectors, select Fracta and disconnect (remove) it.
  • ChatGPT: in Settings, open Apps (connectors), select Fracta and disconnect (remove) it.

After you disconnect, that client can no longer reach your Fracta data. Conversations the client already holds are managed in that service's own settings. If you cancel Fracta Pro, connector calls are also rejected. If you delete your Fracta account, the data on our side is deleted as well.

Data handling

See section 5 of the Privacy Policy. The connector shares only tasks and memos; Google Calendar events, your email address and purchase information are not shared.
